Best official Rust servers
236 official Rust servers are online right now with 21,295 players between them. 234 (99%) are vanilla, 14 (6%) enforce a group limit of four or fewer, and 20 wiped in the last 24 hours; 20 are at 90% capacity or more. The list below ranks them by current population (plus queue, minus map age), so the top of it is where people actually are, not who paid for placement. Each row shows the team limit, gather rate, when it last wiped and when it wipes next, with a link to the server's own page for the full schedule. Official here means servers run by Facepunch.

How is the best official Rust server chosen?
By current population, with a small bonus for a queue and a penalty for maps older than a few days. Ranks are recomputed every 10 minutes from live server data; nobody can pay to be listed higher.
Which official Rust servers are vanilla?
234 of the 236 online (99%). Vanilla rows show a green pill; modded rows show the gather rate.
When do official Rust servers wipe?
Most declared schedules here wipe on Thursday. 72 of them publish an owner-declared schedule; the rest are detected from past wipes. Every row says which, and the server page has the full schedule and a countdown.
Where does the data come from?
Read directly from the game servers via Steam's master list: live player counts and each map's start time, plus owner-declared schedules. Wipe Board refreshes the full list every 10 minutes and servers about to wipe every minute.
